FRACDS RACDS 2005, BDS Otago 1997
Dr Ikram graduated in New Zealand with BDS from Otago University. He was awarded distinction in Removable Prosthodontics and Human Occlusion as well being awarded the Craddock Prize in the same subjects. He then went on to obtain his Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons as well as equivalence to MFDS by Royal college of surgeons of England. In September 2005 he commenced a 4 year degree in Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics at Guys Hospital.
He has extensive restorative and endodontic experience both in general practices and in hospital settings.
Outside dentistry, Dr Ikram is a keen sportsman as well as being classically trained in piano and playing the guitar.

Dr Markovitis qualified with DMD from Hungary in 2002. She worked in general dental practice for 5 years before commencing an MSc in endodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital which she successfully completed in September 2008.
She is fluent in German and Greek as well as English.
At our Referral centre, endodontics is provided by Dr Ikram and Dr Markovitis who are dentists with a special interest in endodontics. They also provide treatment for endodontic cases referred through the PCT.
