Dr Michael Amin
BDS (Hons), FDSRCS (Eng), MBBS (Hons), FRCS (Eng), FRCS (OMFS)


Dr Amin qualified in Dentistry in 1988 at The London Hospital, Whitechapel and worked as a junior doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for 3 years, during which time he completed his Dental Fellowship.He then returned to study Medicine at Charing Cross hospital, London, followed by postgraduate training in Acute Medicine, Orthopaedics and General Surgery. He passed the Surgical Fellowship in 1998 and started higher surgical training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Queen Mary's hospital, Roehampton, University College Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Eastman Dental Hospital and St George's Hospital Medical School. During this time he completed the Intercollegiate Fellowship examinations. He was appointed Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Heatherwood & Wexham Park hospitals NHS Trust in Sept 2004. His main interest is in Head and Neck Cancer and he is part of a multidisciplinary team based at Mount Vernon Hospital, where he works closely with ENT surgeons, Oncologists and other support staff. He treats patients with mouth, jaw and neck cancer including surgical reconstruction and rehabilitation with dental implants and prostheses. His other interests include facial trauma, salivary gland problems, facial skin cancer, temperomandibular joint problems, dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth, buried roots and jaw cysts), and chronic facial pain. He is a member of the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) and British Association of Head & Neck Oncologists (BAHNO). He is married with 3 children, and enjoys walking, gardening and golf.


Dr Khalid Bagegni

Dr Bagegni qualified from Guys Dental Hospital in 1993. After one year in general practice, he embarked on a hospital-based career pathway. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and has been on the GDC specialist register from 2001.

His main interests are in oral surgery as well as dealing with trauma cases and dentoalveolar surgery. He also has extensive experience of providing oral surgery in general practice under inhalation and intra-venous sedation.

Outside dentistry, Khalid enjoys dabbling in stocks and shares as well as in football!



Dr Babita Arora

Dr Arora qualified from Kings College, London in 1993. She then went on to work in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery while studying for her fellowship examinations. She is currently working in general practice as an oral surgeon as well as in Northwick Park Hospital in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department.


She has also had experience of teaching, having taught oral surgery for 3 years at Kings College.

Dr Arora is on the Oral Surgery Specialist Register.
