Dr Rayatt is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust, Stoke on Trent and it is an honour to have him as part of our team. Dr Rayatt went to medical school at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and qualified MBBS in 1993. While at Medical school he represented the Hospital in Hockey. His junior posts were at Guys Hospital and in Portsmouth. His basic surgical training was at Royal London Hospital in General surgery, Orthopaedic surgery and Neurosurgery.

Uniquely Mr Rayatt is also a Qualified Dental surgeon, having trained at Guys Hospital in London (BDS 1984). He has experience in Oral and Maxillo facial Surgery and is on the Oral Surgery specialist list and a member of the British Association of Oral and Maxillo Facial surgeons. He completed the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in 1996. His Plastic surgery training began at the former world famous Burns Unit in Roehampton, followed by St Georges Hospital in South London and at St Andrews in Chelmsford. His Specialist Plastic surgery Registrar training was in the Midlands region, rotating through hospitals in Birmingham, Coventry and Stoke. He attained his specialist accreditation as a Plastic Surgeon in 2005 (FRCS Plast)

His principal fields of interest are microsurgical reconstruction of Breast, Head and Neck, and Lower Limb. His routine work entails reconstruction following trauma and cancer resections. He performs all aspects of aesthetic and cosmetic surgery including Botox, Fillers, Facelifts, Rhinoplasties, Breast surgery, Bariatric surgery, liposuction, lipomodelling and abdominoplasties (tummy tuck).

His has had several TV appearances both in the UK and in Europe.

He has also published 25 papers in prestigious British, European and American Journals as well as carrying out many National and International presentations and lectures. He is also a reviewer for the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (JPRAS)
