Dr N Vasir
Navtej qualified from the Royal London Hospital and spent some years in general practice before embarking on his specialist training in Orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1976.
He subsequently took the higher training pathway, working at the Royal Dental and Kingston Hospitals leading to his appointment as a Consultant at University College Hospital in 1985. In 1998, he moved west to |
Central Middlesex Hospital. In 1981, he started an orthodontic practice in Southall but moved to the present
address in Southall in 2001.
His recent Consultant post was at Northwick Park Hospital but now spends all his clinical time in specialist practice. His clinical interest spans the whole spectrum of dental malocclusion, with emphasis on adult orthodontic treatment and multidisciplinary care, especially management of facial deformity & joint treatment of restorative cases in collaboration with referring practitioners.
Navtej has a keen interest in promoting further education and organized the 2-year part-time training in Orthodontics for general practitioners at the London Deanery from 1986 till 2000. From 1986 to 1991, he was elected to the GDC. He is a past Chairman of Southall, Hammersmith & Hounslow LDC. He lives in Southall and is the Principal at Southall Dental Specialists. |
